Bulls Available for Private Treaty
We retain a group of later-born bulls here at the ranch that are offered by private treaty.
These private treaty bulls receive the same care, attention, and selection as our sale bulls and are available directly from the ranch. Buyers are always welcome to visit, view the bulls in person, and visit with us about which genetics best fit your operation.

Our Family Ranch
Lonesome River Ranch LLC. originated at the beginning of 2012. We purchased Jeff’s father’s ranch after the dispersal of his family’s ranch, Summitcrest, in 2011. In the dispersal sale, we bought a select group of cows for a start-up herd. We wanted to continue to raise registered Angus cattle and have a group of good bulls to sell every year in a bull sale. After raising cattle for 25 years, we knew it was what we wanted to continue to do as Lonesome River Ranch.
